RHIANNON'S OBITUARY

Rhiannon Lorene Miller, 13, died from injuries suffered in a skiing accident Wednesday, February 19, 2003, at Mission Ridge Ski Area, Wenatchee, Washington.

Rhiannon was born in Olympia, Washington on November 14, 1989 to Dave and Laura Miller, both of Olympia. She has one older brother, Bryan Miller. Rhiannon lived with her paternal grandparents, Don and Nadine Clouse, and was in the 7th Grade at Reeves Middle School. She is also survived by grandparents, Dave and Arlene Miller and Jimmie and Don Oakland, aunts and uncles, Steve and Tracy Miller and Freda and John Lakner, and cousins, Kirsten, Kevin, Fred, and Rayleen, all of Olympia; plus several other aunts, uncles, and cousins in Alaska.

Her short 13 years were filled with joyful interests. She was a member of the Reeves Middle School orchestra, and also studied cello privately with Robin Boomer and Derek Johnson. She was on her way to becoming an accomplished musician. For the last few years she had been studying Byakku Ryu Jujutsu martial arts at ChiDoKai Personal Growth Center.

Rhiannon had a passion for animals great and small, and loved to ride horses. Her dream for her future was to be a wildlife biologist. The out-of-doors was her favorite place to be no matter what the weather. Traveling with her grandparents was something she loved to do. She was especially fond of small children, and took great joy working with the younger youth at her church.

She enriched and blessed the lives of everyone who knew her. A caring and loving heart is her everlasting legacy.
